Surprise Guest!

Today when I picked Aaron up from school I told him there was someone at our house that came to see him as a surprise. He was so excited the entire 5min drive he couldn't hardly sit still. He guessed everyone he could think of, but never got it. As soon as he walked in the house the look of astonishment was priceless. UNCLE LUKE!!!!!! For the rest of the afternoon he was completely glued to his Uncle Luke. I'm not sure which one of them had more fun:)

Cousin Coley Cole visits!

Had a great visit from Papa, Gigi, Aunt Sarah and Baby Cole this weekend. As usual Aaron was PUMPED for them to come. Cole is still just a little small to play with Aaron alone, but they still had fun playing together. Mostly Cole followed Aaron wherever he went. Good practice for Aaron when his little brother gets here. By the way, baby boy #2 still has NO name. I am starting to think that he won't until we see his sweet face and hopefully something will come to us. Until then, Aaron is referring to him as Elmo, which I can't complain about since I won't give him any other options. We have had a great weekend and really enjoyed everyone's visit. Next time they come will be when baby is here!!!

"Close your eyes mom!"

The Buttercups are blooming here already. Earlier this week I saw Mark taking Aaron to the field with him and was telling him to be quiet the entire time they were walking. Aaron had been yelling for me, which is why I saw them 'sneaking' toward the field. After several attempts to answer him, I realized that Mark was trying to get him to stay quiet and not call for me...which Aaron was having trouble understanding since he was attempting to scream at me an explanation of where they were going and why. The next thing I know I have a knock at my front door. I answer and see my sweet little boy standing there, smiling from ear to ear, with his hand stretched out as far it could go holding a bouquet of Buttercups saying "Close your eyes mom, I have a surprise!" (He had no idea that he wasn't supposed to show me the flowers until AFTER he told me to close my eyes:) Of course I close my eyes and then re-open (when he says of course) and squeal with happiness for my 'surprise' flowers!!! Then I look up and see Mark around the corner of the house watching the whole thing beaming with joy. A good man teaching his son good things. Love, love my boys!
