Goodbye old wall!

Today we had the 1/2 wall between the kitchen and living room taken out. It's so exciting. It's something I wanted done since we moved in.

One Week Down

One week down and one week to go until Aaron gets his cast off. We have had a very uneventful week so far. Aaron has done very well. Surprisingly well. He only asked to have it off the first day before his nap. With only a little whining and being a little more attached to his mamma...we have successfully completed a week and have high hopes for next week. I am so thankful that it wasn't his 'thumb sucking' hand that is in the cast! He has slept well and has adapted to things having to be held and manipulated differently. He loves it when people sign his cast and asks them to write the letter 'A.' Overall, good experience; if you have to have this particular experience. Here is a few pics.

So many people have signed his cast

Broken Arm

Well we found out that Aaron broke his arm. He fell on his basketball goal and somehow ended up breaking both long bones in his left arm. He is taking it like a champ. Barely cried in the doctor's office today when they put his cast on. He chose the color blue and was very proud as we walked out of the office...he had to show EVERY person we met as we left his 'bu' cast. First broken arm before he was 2 years old. I guess it runs in the family, Mark had the same kind of break twice in both arms and I broke my left arm when I was in grade school. Here are a few pictures.

'ssss-now!'

This morning we woke up to a beautiful white blanket of snow. I think we got over 6 inches and are expecting more tonite! Aaron woke up and said 'nooo!!!!' We have been working on adding the 's.' We also have to remind him that snow is white, not blue. We went out to feed Lenny (the horse) and play in the snow. We were out for 30minutes and he loved every minute of it. I really enjoyed watching Aaron discover the snow all by himself for the first time, last year he was too young to care much about it. Of course I went nuts taking pictures! Here are a few for your enjoyment.
