First Hike

Today is Mark's birthday...so I must start off by wishing him a happy birthday!
This afternoon, we took Aaron on his first hike.He did great in his little carrier, so happy in fact he fell alseep by the end of the hike. It was a beautiful day, not too hot, perfect for a little birthday hike. He is actually just barely fitting in this carrier. I think for future hikes we are going to have to get a bigger carrier for a growing boy. In other news...Matt and Lori are doing great. We stopped by to see them at the hospital in Cookeville on our way home from Melber yesterday. Eli is so perfect and handsome. Today they were able to take him in their room and enjoy being a family. We are so happy for them and can't wait to see Eli again.

A new little cousin!

Elijah David Adams was born last night just before midnight. He looks just like his mother (in my opinion). What a sweet boy. Mark and I will be going to see him tomorrow afternoon on our way home from Melber. To see pictures you can go on facebook or look on Rachel's blog. rachelphillips.blogspot.com.

BIG NEWS and a visit from Aunt Rachel

Aunt Rachel came for another visit. We love Aunt Rachel. She took today off of school and came last night for a short visit.
Yesterday Aaron went to the doctor because he has been spitting up alittle more than usual. The doctor said she thought he might have some reflux. He doesn't cry after he spits up, but he does seem uncomfortable and swallows a lot like something is always coming up. So we got some medicine we are going to try for a while and see if I can see a difference. He has been sleeping through the night more and more. He will sleep all night one night and then won't for a few nights and then do it again, so I think the time is coming when he will be more consistant. I personally LOVE IT! I can definitely handle 7-8 hours of sleep at a time without interruption.
Now the even bigger news.....MY NEPHEW IS ON HIS WAY! Lori went into labor this morning about 1:30am. We are SO excited. After we heard she was in labor so early this morning I stayed awake awhile just praying for them. So if you read this today; pray, pray, pray! How exciting that Aaron will have a new little cousin!

The "A" Team

I know you all have heard Mark and I talk about our friends The Abrahams. Sunday they came over for burgers and then Joel helped Mark with the fence we have been putting up for over a month now. Andrea and I decided since it was such a nice day we would go for a walk. We got our strollers out and put her son Aiden in his stroller and then Aaron in his. Since we are SURE they will be best friends we have nick named them "The A Team." It was alittle chilly out for little boys, so Aaron had to wear long sleaves. There is only 9months between the two, and I'm sure when they are older you won't hardly be able to tell one is older than the other, but right now there is a huge difference. But both are soooo cute!

Fun with Grandmamma and Aunt Sarah!

Jenny and Sarah came on Friday afternoon for a weekend visit. Aaron just smiled and laughed at Aunt Sarah more than anyone. Apparently everything Aunt Sarah says and does is hilarous! Today we went to Murfreesboro and shopped ALL day. My wonderful son was just the best baby that anyone could ever think even ask for. He was a real trooper. Really never fussed. He even let us try hats and things on him without getting mad. Then we got home and decided to roast hot dogs and have s'mores. We ran into a problem when we couldn't get a fire started...no one was a 'boy scout.' So we improvised. Here are some pictures from our day!

We loved roasting the marshmallows for our s'mores

Big Boy

I realize that I seem to have become alittle obsessed with blogging lately, but I am just catching up from not having internet for so long. I'm sure it will calm down soon. I must have worn him out yesterday because after Mark got home and played with Aaron for a while he put him in his bouncy seat and we got busy cooking dinner etc and realized we didn't hear him anymore. I looked over and there was my sweet child sleeping soundly in his bouncy seat.

I thought I would show everyone the picture I took of Aaron yesterday. He looks more like a little boy than a baby. He was so cute I couldn't help but get it on camera. His head still wobbles some but he is getting so much better at holding it up.

fun pictures

Here are some more pictures. Mostly this is for family because I am constantly being told they don't have enough. So now that I have internet......

YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND...

Thanks cousin Casey for my Detroit Pistons onesie

Bathtime is LOTS of fun!

This is our favorite picture right now. Show's his little personality perfectly.

Finally!

Well my lap top finally arrived at 5:30pm last night. Needless to say I was very frustrated because we had to let it charge up for 3 hours and then set everything up so that we could skype with 'our people' Greg and Megan. Thankfully our people are very understanding and were gracious to stay up late and wait for us to get our act together with the internet and skype. We had fun talking with them, getting updates, and most importantly, laughing VERY hard. We also got to see Maggie Kate (Aaron's future boyfriend/husband). Oh so cute! I am looking foward to talking with them more on a regular basis, just maybe not so late into the night.

My child slept until 4:30am this morning before getting up to eat. 9pm-4:30am I totally accept. He goes back to sleep immediately after eating for 2-3 hours, so I really can't complain. I'll post pics soon.

Sleepy Head...

This morning I woke up at 8:20am...yes you read right....8:20am. I was in a panic. I shot out of bed and ran in Aaron's room to find a beautiful peaceful sleeping baby. He is still sleeping now. It's funny I spend most of the day hoping he will sleep well and now that he is I have no idea what to do with myself. I made my coffee but can't help but want to go peep in on him every 5 minutes to make sure I'm not dreaming. Hmmm... We have internet now! My wonderful husband bought me a laptop which should be here at the beginning of next week and we are gonna get set up for wireless. So excited!

Smiles! Smiles!Smiles!

my boy at 9 weeks

in bed at the trail ride

first horse ride...not very happy because I'm sleepy

there ain't no bugs on me

hello to all. I thought I would update everyone on the new trick my gifted son can do. First of all we got back from the trail ride last Sunday. Baby Ace did excellent and was such a trooper. He did get on a horse with his mommy, but just for a few minutes. I have to say that I am feeling more and more normal now, especially since I got to ride so much. My family was absoultely amazing to help me A TON! Jenny came and stayed 2 nights and watched him so we could take an all day ride; yes you read that right...she stayed 2 whole nights. What a great grand-mamma. My mom stayed the whole week which was so awesome. Mark and Jerry even watched Aaron while mom and I took a ride! So enjoy the pictures!
